AT ISSUE: Should Councilman Dick Nichols resign his seat after his comments about Mexicans on Corona del Mar State Beach?

It seems Dick Nichols suffers from terminal "foot in mouth" disease. His "taken out of context" excuse doesn't fly. This man is not a worthy council representative and he should be expelled from the Newport Beach City Council.

Yet another apology and statement of remorse should not be accepted. This latest offering is inexcusable, and there are many capable, caring and intelligent people out there who can better represent us.
